WELCOME
2007 Liberty Gala Celebrates Library's 4th Anniversary
Thanks in part to the generosity of our donors, sponsors and gala guests, in only four years the Pritzker Military Library has become a national resource for understanding the role of the Citizen Soldier in society. Proceeds of the Gala support our free weekly programs for a live audience. These include Chicago's only public affairs forum on military topics featuring Front and Center with broadcast veteran John Callaway, our Medal of Honor Series featuring one-on-one interviews with recipients and the Pritzker Military Library Presents with noted historians and authors.
This year, we will honor 40 men and women of the armed forces and their guests at the 4th Annual Pritzker Military Library Gala. At the Gala, the First Annual Pritzker Military Library Literature Award will be presented for lifetime achievement in military writing. A special presentation of the Library's Founders Award will be made to John Callaway in honor of his 50th year in broadcast journalism.
Joining us will be members of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company who will be presenting a very special live tribute to our Citizen Soldiers.

CONTINUED SUPPORT

In times of peace and war the PML honors the men and women protecting the freedoms we enjoy. The Gala will honor these courageous Americans who keep the country safe in the time-honored tradition of service and sacrifice. Join us in a celebration of the spirit of liberty.
