Colette Holt
Colette HoltColette Holt represents public agencies and private firms on issues related to civil rights, employment issues, public contracting and affirmative action. She has broad experience in conducting litigation, expert witness consulting and testimony, drafting legislation and policies, designing programs, managing initiatives, defending affirmative action programs, and counseling private firms on compliance with diversity requirements. Ms. Holt is also a frequent media commentator and author on these issues. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University and her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School. Ms. Holt was a Law Clerk to the former Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Prior to developing her own practice, she was associated with a large law firm, Deputy Corporation Counsel for the City of Chicago and Chief Operating Officer of the Chicago Park District. She is a former Adjunct Professor at Loyola University School of Law and the John Marshall law School. She is a Board Member of the USO of Illinois, and the daughter of an Airman.

John P. Miller
John P. MillerJohn P. Miller currently is clinical professor and executive director for the Center for Futures and Derivatives at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  He also provides consulting services for Colette Holt and Associates.  Prior to joining UIC, Dr. Miller was the director of Quantitative Research at Citadel Investments in the fixed income arbitrage group; he has also served in different capacities at Greenwich Capital, Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns.  His research interests are in applied econometrics, applied investments and securitization.  Dr. Miller received his B.A. in Economics from Moorhead State University, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
